Well that certainly IS confusing as to when and if there will be collections, HOWEVER, that red mailbox is way prettier than our plain ol’ blue ones over here.

OK this is too funny and once again you’ve highlighted something that is sooo British and making me homesick. US “mailboxes” are ugly… I yearn for a bright red recepticle! I hope one of those beautiful postcards is on it’s way to me!!!!!!

Funny!
Like the pictures of your boys making themselves dizzy. And I do like proper red british post boxes. This makes me feel a bit homesick. The Danish ones are red too, but not the right friendly rotund shape that is so perfect for dizzy-making.

a tiny green irish mailbox would fit well to that wall, especially if it were overgrown by miles of ivy. i will never understand how you can paint your mailboxes GREEN in such a green country. you hardly ever find them – not to talk about tourists. besides: there is no way of posting a A4-envelope, even A5 is tricky. so maybe I should also join in with those postcards in A6, great and easy to accomplish idea! cheers from the esmerald island

Deb…tee hee. I kept the wig. I’m so cross her gift hasn’t arrived yet, I posted it weeks ago. Sob. I will have to do another one if it doesn’t arrive soon. I posted something to the US at the same time and it go there 2 weeks ago.

I thought you were sending Jules the wig as her prize for guessing the fake secret? She’ll be so disappointed to hear that the mailman stole it. I signed up to be a postcrosser too! (Why does this sound like cross-dresser to me?) How fun is this? Thanks for the heads up…I’ll let you know what country I’m writing to. Your red mail boxes are much prettier than ours. I’ll have to see if I can find one to photo for you. Boring!
