Thanks for answering my question(s) so thoroughly Spud – really very enlightening.

And yes, I would like to have a little session on tips for reducing camera shake please. I have a tripod, which is all well and good but life just doesn’t always let you dive in the house, find the tripod, blow the cobwebs off it, and spend 10 minutes setting it up. The moment will have well and truely passed (well it always has in this household anyway!)

Fabulous! Thanks Spud and thanks Funky Slug! I am dying to try the light trail techniques but I am going to have to save that for another time, as I currently live in a place with no traffic, or any other moving lights…sigh.

I was inspired, by the way , to “clone myself” inphotoshop for the first time the other day. Its not perfect, and it was rather time consuming, but it was kinda fun.

Just in time, I was wondering how to shoot pics of the moon. I wonder if my p&s has a night feature? Back to the manual! Brian’s photos are amazing. Love the dragonfly wings.

I hope that thou does not mind but I am sharing this series like crazy. I have followed on the side lines for quite some time now and enjoyed your postings and photography. I am having such a pleasant time, educational and entertaining, with this series that I have to say thank you and this Brit living in the US loves some of the memories shared.
