How do I look?
I got so fed up of my ‘temporary’ blog template, and disappearing designers, that I decided to jump in and choose a better, temporary template. I’m not especially fond of butterflies with their flappy flutterings and ‘oh look at me I’m just a glorifed worm..no wait…LOOK AT ME WOAAAAH DIDÂ YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?… I just like the cheery yellow and the layout. MrSpud is SO thrilled to be spending the evening reprogramming it to make it work for my shambolic witterings, really he adores it. He loves nothing better than spending his entire working day programming and then, oh joy unbounded, programming some more in the evenings. He’s mad for it.
Hopefully this template will be a little more temporary than the other shocker. The jury is out…can I attract the attention of a suitable wordpress designer and actually keep hold of them this time? You decide.
I like this new template….the orange is fiery, just like you. :)
I can’t get past that FANTASTIC hat! (I’m the wrong person to ask about templates. I always dislike any changes. It’s silly, I know.)
Ditto on the hat! I need it for the next Derby party. Don’t worry it’s not til May. Anyway, I like the yellow, very cherry. No, cheery is what I meant. Not cherry, that’d be pinkish. No, reddish. Unless youre a ranier cherry, then it’d be yellowish. Hey! I was RIGHT! Very Cherry of you! HAHAHA.
Ok enough. I’d like to change my template too, but I don’t know how. And I’d like to make my own (read: have someone do it for me) not use the samples they show. So until someone volunteers, I guess I will just keep the one I have…
Please please please tell me you actually own that hat and it’s not borrowed or Photoshopped or something. Because it is absolutely magnificent.
I like the temporary layout. I am someone with zero skills in this department, so I’m always impressed by people who know enough to feel okay about amking changes.

I like it. It’s very fresh and easy to read and view :) Ha, My hubby is a techie too but when it comes to my site he’s like “you figure it out”. grrrrrrrr…haha. Your hat is fantastic!
Kim…yes I do own that hat! Tis pretty fabulous, alas everyone I know is married now. No more chances to wear it apart from dressing up.

as our line is veeeeery slow at the moment (internet by satellite – rural Ireland) it wasn’t able to open your page yesterday – too many pictures. when I just made a new attempt and came over the butterflies I thought I clicked the wrong page!!! but no – it looks fresh and nice for the summer, probably too spring-like for the month to come. and I love the single butterfly sitting on the “leave-a-comment-field”. and the hat is incredibly gorgeous!!!! I had to look twice whether it`s really you!

The hat is from the fabulously named Droopy & Browne…I bought it about 12 years ago, and then wore it to just about every wedding ever. I have had my money’s worth, and I lent it to various pals too. So now it’s just for dressing up..
The butterflies are growing on me, not literally of course.

I like orange. I like butterflies and I love hats! I’m happy. And that’s important.
As I type this, an adorable ant is crawling over one of your butterflies. Literally! Never mind how the ant got onto the screen of my laptop, I think the point is your new template’s colorful butterfly-ness is working, even for the little guys. (Randomly, I know ants aren’t usually adorable, by the way. But when backlighted by your bright white page with its beautiful orange creatures and accents, the wiggling antennae are just too cute!) IMO the orange sparkle swirl at the top is really you! Fiery and full of light.
Oh! The hat! I forgot to say! The hat! Wow. Love it.
So? Where can I find a Mr. Spud around these parts to figure out bloggy things for me?
