Three colours: red

I am totally devoid of anything to say….I’m just watching the phone and waiting for news of my grandfather, which won’t be good for us but will be a blessing for him.

Instead I’ll join in with the colour theme posts which Julochka, Polly and others have been doing. Interestingly I find it so hard to recall my photos by colour theme…I have a good recall for most of them by theme, content etc but the dominant colour is hard for me. So I’m sticking to three colours…red, blue and white: the Three Colours Trilogy. Voici red…

  1. Wow. I really just love your photos. And so many similarities to what I like to photo: Tomatoes, japanese dolls…

And again, sorry about your Grandad. Sending even more energy over the North Sea.

  2. Those are great photos. I have the ones of Diggies (did I spell that right) boots on my desk near the computer. I love it.
Sending hugs and good thoughts about grandad…

    xxoo

  3. I was never very good at words of comfort but I hope both you and your Grandfather find peace…

Great photos. The winter warmth is my favourite, those spiky bits (I’m sure they have a name) look great. I have to pay more attention to little things.

  4. I’m grateful for just photos sometimes when my mind just can’t take more words. This was a lovely respite from having to read. The pictures of red slippers looks like you were laying on the floor…what do you kids say when Mummy gets in weird poses for picture taking?

  5. your collection of red is beautiful!
thinking of you and sending hugs.

  6. These are so striking, Spud.
I’m sure your grandfather knows that you are sending your heart out to him, too.

  7. i love your red, but especially the holga. are you doing all these “macros” with your 50mm?

thinking good thoughts for your and your grandfather.

Lovely photos, as usual – red’s Ethan’s favourite colour at the moment, and he’s now talking about Diggy’s boots rather a lot!

  9. Love these red shots! Exactly the visual energy I needed this morning.
My thoughts are with you, and I send you lots and lots of hugs… I hope the wonderful memories from your grandfather would help you in this time. B, xxx
