I’m not really here

You can see the words, but I’m not here. I’m actually away with the fairies….I met them down in the woods, frollicking under the toadstools and sprinkling fairy dust. So i joined their merry bande and tootled away to the stars with them.
Of course I’m talking crap. I’m not really here, I’m actually blogging in my head. I read all your comments and emails about secret blogging and I weighed up all the options. I’m still tempted by a secret blog as my chosen vehicle, but something about it alarms me a little bit. So while I get comfortable I’m blogging to myself..in..my…head. GENIUS! Chuck in the grudge book and I’m good to go.
On a more serious note, yet more gloomy news Chez Spud. I can’t talk about it here (so I’m talking about it to myself in my head), but someone is desperately ill with a brain injury and thousands of miles from home. Thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers xxx

Pssst….I´m not really here too!
I´m looking for those fairies to take me to their stars. Would be nice.
And so sorry to hear about one of your loved ones being so ill. Must be hard for everyone that he/she is so far away.
Take care, Jeannette
oooh I gotta catch up and read the secret blogging post. I think I know what you’re talking about though…there’s a reason not much gets said on my blog. SOmetimes I feel like I”m talking in code when I need to vent. lol…Anyways, love the mushroom shot and I sure hope the fairies are being nice. They can be little tempermental
My LPC was almost a secret but I have to blab… I’ll go check out the other post I missed… crushing the mushroom shot! You really need to go pro!!

Oh lovely, you’re really having a bad time of it lately. Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts coming your way xx
Oh dear Spud. When it rains it pours. The fairies will take good care of you, but watch the gnomes, they’re mean. I’m sending good thoughts to you and the someone you care about. Hugs XOXOXO
oh spud! how awful! sending good vibes..and thinking you really should do the secret blog thing. it’s not good keeping all that stuff in your head…

on a happier note, that mushroom is STUNNING! our mushrooms are always growing in some dark, dank corner of the forest and never have light like that on them…sigh.
oh spud, bad destiny stuck again, so sorry… and yes, i had considered blogging in secret because there are so many things that should be written but can’t be said in public if you have a certain position in the businees world. but i think as a creative person you can always find ‘codes’ and sybolic photographs to write about things which one or even mores years later only will recognize the meaning of. after nearly a year of blogging i am really thankful for my records and i am reall astonished how many little but nice things i would have forgotten without my blog. how much more satisfying it must be to re-read my life in five or more years!! so i rather stick with public blogging as the feedback from dear readers is precious to me. all the best anyway xxx!
What a beautiful photo… the fairies definitely live there! My fairies are winging their way to you with healing thoughts for your friend.
thoughts, prayers, and hugs to boot. You’ve had it rough lately, I hope everything turns out ok…
Good luck with the fairies Spud, hopefully they’ll take care of you and yours…
And that’s a MUSHROOM !!!… I thought it was a fairy cake, and I was getting hungry and drooling just looking at it in all its still warm oven baked goldenness, then it dawned what it really was… Lucky I like mushrooms too.. lol..
spud thats a beautiful beautiful shot!
best wishes and lots of prayers..
Spud, do your boys know this poem? It was a favorite of darling daughter’s when she was little:
The Elf and the Dormouse, by Oliver Herford, 1863-1935 (published in the 1800’s)
Under a toadstool crept a wee Elf,
Out of the rain to shelter himself.
Under the toadstool, sound asleep,
Sat a big Dormouse all in a heap.
Trembled the wee Elf, frightened, and yet
Fearing to fly away lest he get wet.
To the next shelter–maybe a mile!
Sudden the wee Elf smiled a wee smile,
Tugged till the toadstool toppled in two.
Holding it over him, gaily he flew.
Soon he was safe home, dry as could be.
Soon woke the Dormouse–”Good gracious me!
Where is my toadstool?” loud he lamented.
–And that’s how umbrellas first were invented.
Your mushroom is so beautiful…surely a fairy would want it as an umbrella!
Blessings to you dear Spud.
