this was very informative, and I always have too much space above the head. Now back to a question you raised in your post. I have no idea what RAW is… so please tell the difference between that and JPEG. Please please please

Another nice post. The rule of cropping does allow you to crop limbs but it is said to always crop above a joint (like you have done). It’s “so called” not acceptable to crop just below joints.

When it comes to cropping, I’m very careful. I think it’s the journalist in me, and sometimes it changes the premesis that the picture is taken in.

But sometimes you just can’t get away from cropping. It can make a picture so much better.

I’ve got a loong way to go when it comes to photoediting.
