Weston-super-Mare
Town of my noble birth…ah, blessed art thou Weston-super Mare…let’s overlook the fact that Jeffrey Archer is thou Lord…and the fact that the sea is NEVER in and you have to walk a mile for a paddle…and the fact that your nickname of Weston-super-Mud is so well deserved…anyway, thou art blessed amongst faded English seaside towns and we heart you.
I’m visiting my Dad and his wife as part of our Christmas round robin trip. Today we braved the cold for a run around the beach. Brrrrrrrr….

Is it just me, or does that second shot look a bit… errrrrh… lol… Hopefully that’s one of those ball throwers he’s holding… I mean, I know the cold does strange things… but seriously… hehehe…
LOL at funky
glad to see I’m not the only one with a mind in the gutter.
It looks like you all had a wonderful day, even if it was a bit chilly!
wonderful shots…the ones on the beach with your boy…ones to cherish.
look at the amazing detail your new camera picks up. Love the labrador smile!
Fantastic pictures, I spent many a childhood Sunday at W-S-M and in the winter we used to have two of the donkeys come and stay with us. trouble was they would only let you ride them about 50 yards before they wanted to turn around and go back again.
Now I heart those muddy shores, highly productive! I think you’re a beach snob having been spoilt by east angular’s dull sandy offerings. Dig for lugworms next time, the boys will heart them. Beautiful shots. Buster looks Chuffed
These are so dreamy and beautiful that I cannot believe them!
xo
brilliant brilliant brilliant. love these. especially the dog one, and the really low angle one. AND i love the new layout!!! very funky. hope you’ve had a fab christmas and a good break x
These pictures so beautifully capture the prefect winter day at the beach — dogs, running, throwing balls, I can smell the air! Look at the dogs’ smile and her eyes – all about the ball!
Hope holidays are lovely and best of everything in the new year!
these are so beautiful! looks like a wonderful day!
That was the destination of my first school trip .. a week in Weston Super Mare!!! hahahahaaa.
Now what exactly is that pink think in the second picture with the large “head”????? LOL!!!
the knitted cap with the robot on it is awesome!!
what is it about northern europeans that makes them think it’s ok to go to the beach in all weather. i’m not sure i’ll ever get used to that, but the possibility of pictures like this just might make it more appealing. i really love that second to last one. gorgeousness!!
