With little kids, it's all about the process... which often means using the materials as building blocks! Love it! And thanks for the links to the other sites, Spud! In going from link to link, I discovered The Vintage Moth, which is lots of fun! Serendipitous finds are always delightful!

What a lovely day, Spud! I love when I can have one-on-one with the kids. I learn as much as them ~ if not more...

Whenever someone asks me about what to give as a gift to my children, I always say a ream of paper. I know it may seem strange, but I have seen board-like-games, miniature forts, puppets, collages, and so much more created while store bought toys lay to the side. And the best part? When they are "done" with it (that is bored with it), it is recycled.

Now I am off to see if I have what I need to make banana bread. It would be perfect for Sunday brunch...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

the chocolate was indeed an inspired addition. i'll tell S that you approve.

and let the kid use the stamps how he sees fit. unless he decides to eat them, you shouldn't let him do that. but you could give him his own bit of paper. and don't let him wreck that cool 3-eyed monster one, that one's cool.

bloggy love rocks. i know this because i've been using my new, pretty, extra long (and totally necessary despite the fact that we do have pins in this land--none like this tho', in-danger-of-no-longer-being-a-keeper-husband guy) pins, which were perfect for my now almost-done quilt. and the dress i made for myself. because i'm crafty like that.

now i'll let you go eat banana bread.

your banana bread looks scrumptious... but I have to admit my 15yo daughter makes the best ever. Really. Chocolate chips *and* a spoonful of peanut butter along with the bananas. I could eat the whole loaf. I usually do... LOL

Thanks for the shout-out! I'm not embarrassed, I'm honored!
