Oh I had such a giggle at a comment from Deb a few days back, when I posted a video of Bertie on his go-kart. “Nice to hear your voice”, she said. Um, Deb….that was MR SPUD not me!! This is me talking. I sound like the Queen. I was teased mercilessly about my cut glass accent at various Blog Camps…
Enjoy! Oh, those ‘buckets’? I bought them to stash yarn in. They lasted about 10 seconds before those Megaboys appropriated them for Boys Chores.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the accent! You sound very queenly indeed! And the boys taking your buckets… Well, I have teenagers and they are still appropriating my stuff! Get used to it Mom! :)

Well now you’ve done it! I must call you Queen Spud from now on! I hope you weren’t too offended by my voice identification faux pas ….It might have been worth it though to see and hear the gorgeous megaboys in action in the garden…
OH MY GOSH!!! I could literally spoon that up and eat it for dessert. I absolutely adore your voice and your little ones sounding sweeter than ice cream. Oh, I could listen to this again and again and again. You really belong on BBC. You REALLY do.
I have an idea. And it really is a good one. Your voice belongs on recorded books. Say, reading a Rosamund Pilcher story for starters. Seriously, there’s another career for you, just in case you need another to tuck into your back pocket.
But, that wasn’t my idea. This is: Would you consider making a video of you reading bedtime stories. Maybe something quintessentially British? You could have a familyish one with your piled up with your beautiful MegaBoys, of course. But, I think it would be wonderful if Mr. Spud filmed the books and the little boy hands turning the pages and you read. Really, really great! Will you, please? Will you, hunh, will you??

I think your accent is awesome! I’m definitely afraid to post my voice because I sound like a hillbilly “Amurrican”…..your voice is so regal and actually, it kinda reminded me of Mary Poppins’ voice…and you know…..she’s practically perfect in every way.
How lovely to hear your voice! It makes me want to take English lessons again, my vocabulary is good for a Dutchy and to Dutch people so is my accent thanks to a 17 year relationship with an Englishman but having been without the Englishman for 8 years, it could do with some polishing I think.
And to see those 2 little boys….. they are soooo adorable.
