What I saw on my bike today…
Posted under iphone photography, What I saw today
…Paddington Bear, looking a bit faded and disheveled it has to be said, giving me one of his fabled ‘hard stares’ from a window up above. Probably he was wondering who the woman with the big red face was, out of breath and clutching a phone trying to snap a picture and stopping her bike wheeling off down the VERY steep hill at the same time. Note to self: next time, get off and ditch bike for shots like this rather than wobble around in the road.
Also, put new batteries in bike lights and don’t stay out after dark. Ooops.
The other thing I saw on my bike ride today…
…a beautiful cottage garden filled with flowers and tomatoes galore. Anyone for chutney?

Is that Lavenham, or some other just as picturesque Suffolkshire village?
I love you blog, BTW x
Oh my they are some BIG tomatoes. Where is this it looks a very picturesque place?
The one of paddington bear is in Woodbridge so I’m assuming the other photo is from there too.
Paddington makes me a tiny bit nervous, with that hard stare and all :-)
What a gorgeous area you live in! Thank you for huffing and puffing around the neighborhood so you could send us these lovely pictures!
Oooh! My mom made my sister a Paddington bear when she was a toddler. That brings back LOTS of memories! And that garden is to die for!!! So very jealous this side of the pond….
Ohhh gorgeous!!!! you have batteries in your bike light??
i had one of those Paddington’s… memories memories.
Picture Postcard Perfect! Just how I imagined your neighborhood/town would be…I’m very envious of the tomatoes..they are huge…mine are sad.
Yep, both shots are of Woodbridge: the latter is of Market Hill, which makes the tomato plants even more surprising!
I think it was Paddington Bear that started my whole love affair with England when I was little. That and marmelade.
