Last of the sunflowers..dead…seeds long pecked by the birds…burnt and blackened but glowing in the sunshine today.
Later, I fell over in the mud. And got stuck. Seriously stuck. That kind of panic inducing arm circling…oh…oh…OH!…kind of stuck. I got one leg out. Couldn’t get the other out at all and ended up down on one knee, one hand in the mud, other hand frantically waving my camera in the air. The camera survived. My jeans are wrecked. This photo doesn’t do the devastation justice.
Scene of the crime. Looks a pastoral idyll doesn’t it? LOOKS DECEIVE. It’s a quagmire in there.
Two years ago our neighbour got his landrover stuck there. You’d think I’d have learnt…

It’s good for the skin you know. The mud.
wash the jeans with vinegar…. yes you heard me now go do it….. and it does look like a quagmire to me..but then I’m just a cautious kind a gal.

Oh Yes, I agree with the white vinigar, works wonders on mud and I should know I married a farmers son!
