Tea? Builders’ or Earl Grey? Milk, sugar…fancy some cake? Come on in and let’s have a chat. Here’s you’ll find my witterings with occasional glimpses of insight. Eclectic is probably a good word to describe the likely content, but it’s work in progress and I reserve the right to change my mind. After all, I’m both female and an only child so it comes very naturally to me since, in the end, I am always right. Children, photography, country and beach life dominate my life and are likely to dominate my blog – in a crazy moment of art reflecting life and all that.

A year ago, Me, MrSpud and our boys Bertie (4) and Digby (2) moved from the big smoke to the country and we’re still adapting to life in green wellies. I’m British, live in Suffolk and am so near 40 I can smell it.

I started Chez Spud using content from my 30 Secrets in 30 Days project from my Flickr stream, 30 random and little known facts about me. Since then I’ve spiralled in to a vortex of random wittering about any old nonsense that comes in to my head. I witter a lot about photography and run an online camera club here at Chez Spud.  I once penned this rambling post about myself should you need more of a clue as to what is going on around here.
